The Safe Communities Task Force will hold its third annual Parent Conference on Saturday, May 21 from 9am to 4:30 pm at the Boys & Girls Club (4040 Plomondon Street, Vancouver WA).

The conference, titled “What Kids Know and Parents Wish They Did,” includes workshops on today’s most critical youth safety issues. The event is free and open to the public. Conference organizers are planning for more than 100 attendees, most of whom will be parents of teenagers.

Participants can register online at www.safecommunitiestaskforce.org or by calling (360) 397-2201 x5826 during regular business hours.

For more information on hosting an information booth for your organization, donating breakfast or raffle items to support the event, or volunteering can contact Joe Walsh at (360) 397-2130 x5204.
